hmmm..i forgot to finish the previous entry..haf just added to it..yea..
i actually haf every reason to be happy now. or rather, i was until i heard the news.
firstly, i got double doubles champ
secondly, it means i've won everything there is to win at the B div tournament
thirdly, its my birthday in case u didnt noe
AND.......we were celebrating and the news came and thts it..coach zu said he was leaving us for nat team..although he is still in stta, but sigh...it seems as though he was leaving us for good..probably coz he was the only coach tht bothered to haf a close bond wif us? i guess the relationship between each and everyone of us and him is rather special yea? not the normal kinda relationship we haf with our coaches, instead, he was lyk our close friend..
the times we had together,went to shanghai and thailand..and zu coach wasnt just any other normal coach..he was the kind of coach u cld relate to easily, since he is only 8/9 yrs older than us..and trng would always be fun wif him joking arnd..and i cld always look forward to trng becoz sometimes, i knew tht he would make my day..
and results..hmmm..it really shows he was a good coach..lyk last yr, just two months after he came i won the b div men's singles..and later, on to the top ten title and other results..tsk..we take him for granted and now..he's gone..
ohwell..why is the feeling not right?lolx..its supposed to be my bdae..and i almost forgot abt it ytd until hm told me ytd night..tsk tsk..nvm..all i can do now is to play well on sat to go to nat team..
back to b div..hmmm..thnk God for seeing me through,esp the mixed doubles..had the faith tht He was with me..
MVP=tyc..haha..wad i lyk is the fact tht the 05 singles champ and the 06 singles champ got the doubles title..haha..tyc was awesome..and he lyks the fact tht we only dropped one set throughout the doubles event..
team event..ahh..wad a disappointment..crashed out too early..our team comprising of zp uncle png and jing yuan..and in a way it did affect me..coz i pinned all the hopes of gold on team..ohwell..thnk God i managed to recover from defeat and play better in the two events..
and not forgetting mixed doubles..lolx..two of the matches we won were by a margin of only two points..hmmm..there were many a time when we were trailing and i just had the faith tht the Lord was still there..and..it did work..esp the finals..haha..
okk..yay..not tht im trying to be hl..but im very glad tht i've finally managed to win everything there is to win..haha..esp the doubles..little did tyc n i expect to win the event, needless to say drop only one set!
lolx..th..i think we all wun forget his amazing victory..lolx..but the fact is how did he end up playing to the 5th set?lolx..last set..losing 7-2 to xj..i went to toilet..when i came out..7-7 alrdy..haha..but thnk God la..at least got dinner from bernard to eat after tht..

haha..basically thts the highlight of the aseans schs comp for me..to be able to win him is really a breakthrough for me..i was like very excited abt it for the rest of the day..ok..though its almost one week since i've come back from jakarta, i still remember everything vividly in my mind...
ok..left for indon on friday(30th june) at noon..we all had to wear formally as this comp was a competition for students..thus our formaly attire was a long sleeve shirt and long pants..basically right, we had lyk one and a half days of rest before finally starting the comp..and guess wad, lolx..the comp arena is not air-conditioned..but at least the tables are better thn bangkok..
competition wise i think we did well..the comp standard is rather average..most of the pple who went to bangkok also went to jakarta..
hmmm..team event we were drawn into the same grp wif m'sia and vietnam..hence to get into the semis, all we had was just to win m'sia (which we did) and we were through to the semis..
up against indon, our star player tyc unfortunately was unable to play..however we still gave a fight and lost 3-1..xj lost gilang, i won ficky, yj lost ahmad and i lost gilang..lolx..ficky..i was losing 2-0 and i told myself cannot lose 3-0..and thnk God i managed to catch up and win him 3-2..little did i expect tht..haha..it is the best match i played so far this yr..
but against gilang, i cld grab the chance..lolx..nvm..thnk God for tht experience..
my and tyc finally managed to get a medal as a doubles pair..we were down against siripong 2-0 in the first round and thnk God we kept our cool and fought back to win 3-2..in the third round against ficky gilang which was the semis, tyc was unfortunately off-form..the fourth set they were leading 10-8 and we saved the two math pts..haiz..but thn ficky bai duan and touched the net and i missed tht ball..thn at 11-12 i made a good ball..haha..hit the side of the table..my turn..but thn ficky had another net ball and hence we lose 14-12 finally..
lolx..singles sad case la..my group was the worst..yusof(the guy who won jho last yr) and the viet no 1 were both in my grp..and only one cld qualify for quarters..hence i lost to the eventual champion yusof..haha..gilang gonna go gila alrdy..lost in the finals to yusof...last set deuce sumore..lolx..same margin which he lost in bangkok to ficky..
hmmm..i think i played better thn bangkok..reason being tht there was no pressure and no target set for us..lolx..i need to maintain this form..
ok..fun wise..haha..it turned out to be more fun thn i had expected..zhanpeng is a joker..lolx..talk crap no one can win him la..haha..thn we went to the amusement park on the last day and lolx..the amusement park is abit the big..hha..but when playing bumper car we all ganged xj..haha..
hmmm..wad haf i missed?haha..oh..the hotel room is rather spacious..thn on a few nights if our match was in the afternoon we would stay up to watch the world cup..haha..thn xj is my room mate and he will always give me problems..lolx..i still rmb on the second day after we came back from the first session of trng he did not want to bathe and instead just went to slp..lolx..thn during the second session he had to stop trng as he was itching all over..tsk tsk..he is also the one who would always come and disturb me when im trying to get some slp in the afternoon..will purpose turn on the tv volume..haha..
well..this trip seems tedious? it was a sort of a holiday for me..lolx..go there for 8 days and only 5 days of comp..haha..the rest are free..so we went shopping most of the time..but we didnt buy much as most of the things were rather expensive..hmmm..made alot of new frenz there..sintoh..lolx..tht joker..looks blur but thn he is always up to no good..everyday after comp he and the thai team would loiter in the corridor and crap..haha..thn jianhong..our old fren..the last night he stayed to talk wif us in our room till 2am...
i must say this trip is really an eye opener for me..first time i went for a schools' tournament overseas..first time every team must wear formal attire for the ceremony..(and toking abt tht, our performance was lyk...wow..the best..lolx..)sigh..i guess we wun get to see these friends for a long time..ohwell..haha..wad to do..
ohya..not forgetting to thnk our team manager mr goh(kong ling hui) and our friendly head of delegation mr sim..haha..they are darn nice to us la..haha..will always find time slots to let us go out to the plaza..
ok..thnk God for seeing me through another good trip..cld feel His guidance there..now its back to church..i've missed a fair bit of church for this period..haha..k..cya guys..

YAY.. finally...haha..oh man..after i won him i was on cloud nine for the whole day!!lost to him last yr at the brunei asean. but nvm..now it's a 50-50 record..shall update further tmr..cya..
