india!
hihi guys..finally back from india..thnk GOD i had this chance to go to india..really shld treasure this experience..got to see world standard..countries like china japan korea taipei hongkong all took part..the standard is really high i must admit..esp japan korea and china..lolx..all their matches are as good as exhibition ones..alot of spectac balls..
hmmm..thnk GOD we got to stay in a 4/5 star hotel..the service is not bad..though its not really cool, but wad everyone enjoyed was the tv..lolx..star movies, hbo etc..wu coach found out tht everyone was watching tv so he tried to make sure we were all asleep by a certain time..
for food every meal was in a reataurant..buffet style..but they were all mostly indian food..haha...thn the water also must be careful..thnk GOD we all managed to survive and no one got sick..
as for the playing arena, i think its nothing compared to brunei..the umpires must take out the tape once in a while to re-tape the floor..thn the 'nadal' from UAE always like to play spectac also..bang into the blockers..
not forgetting the star from spore,zena..lolx..she got the one and only medal which was a gold..lolx..knocked out the jap first seed..the finals was very funny..they were all laughing at the way the hongkong girl played wif zena..haha..all into the net..but to get a gold medal in asian youth is already quite a feat,considering she is spore born..hmmm...guys they played not bad also..got ninth for team..jho took two points of taipei..lolx..pro..thn for singles all of thm had a difficult except me..lolx..thnk GOD for tht sort-of bdae present..jho almost managed to win a china guy in the grp stage..lost 3-2..in the quarters lost to the small and cute 14 yr old jap boy..lolx..his service is seriously better thn fukuhara..i cant even see wad spin it is..ohwell..thnk GOD i managed to get into quarters and get 7th..well..lets see if th keeps his word abt not playing tt for the rest of the yr becoz i got into quarters..haha..
hmmm..there are many fun things tht happened in india and i must say tht wu coach really did a good job..i think he took the comp more seriously thn anyone else..haha..had to look after us boys..ht is a real joker..we managed to go out abit..went to visit a few places..but the heat was unbearable..so hot..anyway i found out how sneaky pple were..hehe..jenn...and some pple were going mad..lolx..wanted to take pics of cows and camels..lolx..
okie..tht shld be all i wanna update abt india..too much to update abt the fun..lolx..esp th the destroyer..thnk GOD i got this experience and also a time of relaxation before i settle down to study for my eoys..which also means i wun play tt much anymore..cya guys..

hihi guys..one more day to india..probably gonna take it as a time of relaxation..rest from all the sch work..really getting abit sian after so many hrs of studying..lolx..not tht i wanna say..maybe brunei was juz too relaxing?anyway i was sick on monday..woah..wad a good time to fall sick..but thnk GOD i'm better now..juz sniffing here and there..taking air sahara to india..taking morning flight at 9am..lolx..dun tell me tht the plane is some third-hand plane..i will really be shocked..haha..anyway let's all try our best to do s'pore proud once again..lolx..though i noe the odds will be against us..ohwell..lyk wu said, wad's most impt is u play ur best and improve everytime =D
open hse
today was open hse for ri..all those CEC had to do duty..lolx..so i had to be sort of a usher..stationed at the atrium and when pple come and register i bring them to the talk,ri tour or bus tour..i find the bus tour very coolio man..haha..its lyk u sit in the bus and they drive u arnd the rjc campus for 10 mins..get it clear..RJ..lolx..pple come for ri open hse and they go arnd rj..shld be more for sec 3s and sec 4s..haha..
saw tyc doing duty also..his one was easier..juz direct pple to the atrium..haha..thn hafta wear blazer..so hot lor..thnk GOD there was abit of wind..haha..thn i saw xj..duno wad he come for when he dun wanna go for ri tour..thn best still, he wanted me to bring him for ri tour..lolx..
acutally i find ri a very fun place man..it's lyk it's supposed to be sch where the students are academically loaded and mostly mugger toads..thn u wun expect to see pple having fun in class everyday, do all sorts of things lyk haf fun at the sushi van etc etc..thn also ri celebrations are fun..makes u enjoy and also feel a sense of belonging to the sch..is tht the rafflesian spirit?i wonder..haha..
juz another 5 days to india..i find my skills juz not improving..haiz..thn i think wu really hopes i play better in india..juz praying hard tht i'll live up to his expectations..anyway zhu lei told me tht it's surprising tht i m fit for tt..after his explanation to me i was quite surprised too..well..juz thnk GOD tht everything was well for the past few yrs..lolx..
haha..india shld be relaxing for me..lolx..me and yj were juz enjoying ourselves for the first two days in brunei..juz sit on the cushion seat and eat snacks while supporting thm..

hihi guys..shall blog before i sleep..trying to squeeze time here and there to do my work..coz most of the time i m resting or travelling or in sch..lolx..thn i keep late nights sumore..finding it very hard to do my hw nowadays..i'll be so tired from sch tht i hardly haf to mood to do anything at home other thn relax..maybe i'm juz looking forward to india..coz it will be the last time i will get to relax..haha..think i'll get knockout very early..so its lyk i'll be a spectator most of the time..but praying hard tht it'll be fun..haha..juz play my best can liao..must show wu coach tht i can fa hui my skills in overseas comps or else he'll make noise again..constantly reminds me abt brunei...lolx..but thnk GOD he really is a good coach..
okie..today had NE lunch talk..guest speaker was from the ministry of trade and industry..talked abt the economic state of spore..so chim man..this talk is really meant for those boys who are keeping in touch wif the world and know what is going on..sort of ri standard talk..lolx..and i was lyk trying my best to understand..haha..thn had to seat at vip table wif the speaker and the other directors in the sch sumore..all the monitors had to sit there..but vip table the only advantage is tht we get served first thn they help u top up food very fast..haha..thnk GOD my seat was juz next to mr ng only..lol..
anyway i really pity chinese teacher man..he has been trying so hard to teach our class but they juz keep having their own fun..lolx..sometimes i wonder who he is teaching every lesson..but actually i haven been handing up his hw..keep on forgeting..lolx..nid to catch up man..

first four days in sch
haha..im back after the first four days in sch..lolx..my class is still as crazy as ever..not listening during any lessons..hmmm..thnk GOD i'm almost catching up wif my work..lolx..letme see..stayed back everyday juz to meet the tchrs..tues and wed was maths n chem..thurs was history..today was physics..haha..my mark wee is a very nice guy man..i lyk forgotten all my stuff thn he still so patient..hmmm..chem..lolx..i kept on yawning thn i think mrs yau also was lyk going to sleep already..haha..but thnk GOD i'm alright wif my work already..juz haf geog,maths and abit of history and chinese to catch up wif..haha..
went for sch trng..as usual juz couldn't concentrate there..haha..ohwell..i went there becoz both the mdms were saying they haven seen me there for a long time..haha..played wif lee coach a while..he still as pro and fast as ever la..better thn all our peilians at stta..haf to play about 50 balls before i can show a nice ball..lolx..
okie..going to InDiA in about 13 days..these are those who are going..

hmmm..i seem to be enjoying the food in sg compared to wad we were served in brunei..haha..thnk GOD the last few meals i had my parents kindly bought me food from outside..
now tht asean has ended, i managed to feel as if i m in sg and not brunei anymore, though i enjoyed those days..lolx..(looking thru the window for li chen and also yj finding something stupid to do)haha..
praying hard tht i will be able to cope wif my work as i go back to sch on tues..my class seems to be having fun(isn't this wad happens everyday?lolx)..hopefully before i go india i would be able to catch up wif my work..these few days after i do some hw for abt half an hr thn i will juz slack..lolx..maybe too used to the old days during the intensive trng..but thnk GOD i have completed a few..

hihi guys..came back from brunei last night..thnk GOD for a safe flight and also the good results(and also for the nice track suit!)..haha..must say this is good comp in terms of fun and results.. well done team =D!!
reached brunei in the afternoon on friday..when we reached the games village we were shocked becoz the place wasnt as nice as we expected..after tht we had to go warm up at the stadium asap..haha..li chen was already at brunei before we went and he seemed to be enjoying himself..
hmmm..got so much to say about the asean this yr esp when it's my first..so if u all wanna noe all go read the other blogs coz i guess they will surely haf alot to update..haha..shall juz update mostly abt events everyday here..
okie..stta said tht the place is juz one minute's walk away from the stadium..more lyk 5 mins at least..haha..the canteen is quite near to the blocks where we stay..one block for the girls and one for the boys..we happened to be staying on the top floor which is the fourth level..haha..
the stadium is considerably big and spacious..haha..very good for high balls and rallys..after trng we were brought to a place where they held the welcome dinner..as usual, ahboon went up solo to sing a song..thn brunei did a magic show..haha..thn after tht at night we could hear ht shouting becoz he din lyk tht place..haha..he said the bedsheets are probably kept and not washed since the 1999 sea games held there..haha..ht jho boon th one room while me n yj one room..
first day me and yj rested while the big boys played wif brunei and phillipines..we juz warmed up whenever there was space thn we were abit sian..lolx..at night was the opening ceremony..haha..i still rmb tht when one guy was toking in malay ht asked if he was going to pray..lolx..
second day the team played wif vietnam and they lost 3-2..but it was to their advantage as thai won indon to get first in the grp..haha..so they managed to win thailand 3-1 in the semis..finals was also on the same day in the afternoon..they were playing against vietnam..lost 3-2 again..
at night me and yj finally got to play our first match..thnk GOD our draw was good such tht we juz needed to win malaysia to get a medal smoothly..although it was our first match, surprising we managed to get used to the area and thnk GOD we both played very well to win malaysia 3-1..
third day we had a match very early at 9 in the morning..we won the semis and were up against indon in the finals..so we went back to rest and the joke was we juz fell asleep while the big boys were still at the stadium without setting an alarm..thnk GOD we woke up juz before lunch and also jho came back and woke us up juz on time..haha..could see tht they were all very happy becoz the four of thm had gotten into the semis for doubles..
me yj lost to gilang and picky in the finals juz as we expected a tough match..but thnk GOD we managed to get a silver at least..
ht boon managed to win vietnam's pair of astro boy and the left hander in the semis while th jho lost to indon..at night boon ht also lost..
fourth day was the singles..lost to picky..thn at night was the nice match which was jho against astro boy..jho was losing 5-1,8-5 and 10-8 in the last set..but due to hi determination he managed to win it 16-14 to get into the semis..this was one match where we all shouted till our throats were sore..thnk GOD it din go to waste..
at night we all started to party becoz we all had no more matches the next day other thn jho..the vietnam capt would juz attract alot of attention and he would make pple laugh..haha..would always go mad every night..
fifth day jho won two more vietnamese to win the singles title..after tht we went to the theme park..so nice yet the rides were really tht good other thn the roller coaster which was really nice..thn as usual, the viet boy went mad again and we slept past 3..last night was very funny la..lolx..thnk GOD we get to know each other well although there is a communication breakdown..so sometimes they will use sign language..haha
thnk GOD i really enjoyed this asean..having withdrawal symptons of it now..haha..and also sg did really well in the medal tallys..got into four finals..all the boys came back wif at least a silver while jho came back wif an extra gold.. must say tht we got our medals due to the rest of the team supporting those playing..
praying hard tht i will be able to catch up wif my work before i go india..this yr it will be singapore and vietnam representing SEA in asian youth games..okie..shall stop here..cya guys..
